The One With the Sonogram at the End

Here sits Phoebe Buffay, bewitched by a conversation about kissing and Pink Floyd, looking like a gypsy Laura Ingalls Wilder. Nothing says lets milk a cow after I read your palm like braids, chokers, and a sage-colored tank top. Note the fact that Phoebe can't leave her apartment without blank stare and a hand covered with rings.

Phoebe Buffay: She invented the pouf.

She's just going full-on Esmerelda in this episode and I LOVE IT. That long, sheer, flowy skirt is pink and patterned and perfect for finding Rachel's wedding ring in Monica's casserole (oh the horror!). Phoebe always seems to know how to dress for any occasion, even ones involving italian food and broken engagements.

God I love that chair.

She may be lounging around in a white, collarless, button-up shirt watching a sonogram of her friend's ex-wife's uterus (NORMAL!), but she is still keeping it fresh with a neck of beads and a pouf fit for a Jersey Queen.

Happy New Year, may this one be The One with Peace, Happiness, and Friends

The One With The Pilot

Where to begin? The vest. The weird button-up, gray dress. The earrings. THE PIGTAILS. Phoebe Buffay couldn't BE more perfect (so Chandler). While Rachel is running into Central Perk in a soggy wedding dress, Phoebe is the one who takes the outfit cake. She's smily, she's singing, and you know she's wearing like, 80 different rings.

Ugh. The fringe. I can't even.

She may be talking about her suicidal mother and how she moved to New York when she was 14 with not a penny to her name, but the only thing I'm paying attention to is that bangin, Indian-inspired shirt. That pattern, the color, the whole thing SCREAMS Buffay. Also, can I get a what what for that choker, it's too 90s and too perfect and I want it in my wardrobe. I see she's added a few elastics to her pigtails and it looks fresh to death. Her life may be depressing, but her outfits are anything but.
